Keeping the faith
Well, from my previous post you've heard I'm getting laid off from my job. Like I said before, it was a shock and the first time in my life I haven't had a back up plan or a job waiting in the wings. I've NEVER quit or left a job without another job to start. So, needless to say this is causing me great anxiety to put it mildly. Last night I had a dream - I was laid off my job, David left me and my car was stolen. Needless to say it was a NIGHTMARE and I was incredibly happy to wake up in my warm bed next to my wonderful husband. WHEW! So, as I read my friends' blogs this morning with their trials and tribulations that they are handling with great hope and faith and I wake up from my nightmare of last night, I have renewed hope and faith. I know everything happens for a reason and we will find our way the way God intended. I know it won't be easy but I am so very thankful for the time I had before and the gifts I still have in my life. This is just another BUMP in the road...HAPPY SUNDAY!

Hey sweetie, the one scripture that I love so much when there is a huge 'fork' in the road as Krista would call it is the following "The mind of a man's heart is his, but the LORD WILL DIRECT HIS STEPS".
Know that the Lord is directing your steps. In fact, as a child of God...there are no accidents. I pray God directs you to the job that you love even better and one that is better for your time with Wyatt.
Big hugs honey..I know God will lead you beautifully. PRAYING SO!
Love you much,
A
Andrea is SOO smart!! She has all the great things to say - sorry, I'm not that good. I do agree with her completely though!! Third Day has this song called "Come on back to me". I think I blogged the words on my Grace Women blog some time ago. Basically, it says that fear/worry only take you further from God. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" Phil 4:6
It's commanded for us to not be anxious!! Have peace in that!
